Jensen Logging is a well-established and well respected logging company based in the Central North Island of New Zealand.

We operate multiple crews in Ground-Based Clear Fell and Production Thinnings operations which produce a total of approximately 800,000 cubic meters per year.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, management and reporting of Harvest Operations
  • Ensure production targets are meet safety and consistently
  • Management, supervision and communication with crews and contractors
  • Establishment and management of day to day operations
  • Management of Health & Safety programme of crews and company
Key attributes:
  • Must have minimum 5 years logging experience (practical and/or supervisory) with preference for individuals with logging management skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Proactive attitude with ability to drive a thinking culture
  • Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative
  • Good understanding of the Health and Safety Work ACT 2015 and the responsibilities of individuals under the ACT
  • Computer competence with Word/Excel knowledge
  • Vision for the future with positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Solid work ethic with a love of the outdoors
